Girls golf camps announced

by Golf Australia

To complement the growing numbers of girls coming to golf, Golf Australia will deliver a series of girls golf camps for girls developing their passion for golf across 2021.

Girls golf camps are being delivered for girls of varying aged depending on location, with camps held over 1-3 days. The camps aim to build new friendships through golf while having fun learning about the game.

Camp programs are designed to grow girls’ knowledge, skills and experiences, foster their love of the game, and help them build critical social connections with other girls who have a burgeoning interest in the game.

Coaching, delivered by PGA professionals and Golf Australia community instructors, focuses on key elements of the game including long game, pitching, chipping, bunkers, putting, warm-up and movement, and course play all delivered through fun, game-based coaching.

Off-course sessions will explore various topics such as team building, mindfulness, social connectivity or leadership.
